The “flat” style arrangement is like what you see in Indian Miniature paintings. This required working in an orthographic set up vs a normal, “perspective”, set up where objects are not modelled in perspective: top, front, and side of an object are projected onto perpendicular planes. It’s subtle, but it “flattens” objects. This took getting used to but this piece has worked out well.
Digital collage using photography and 3D modelling. The aesthetic is a result of a workflow I have been using and moulding for over 3 years.
